Hi, I’m Rayna!
I am an abstract artist based in Chicago, IL. My work in psychiatry, walking beside people on their mental health journeys, has shaped how I see the world: complex, textured, deeply human. I carry this into my art, where I explore emotion, movement, and the quiet language of expression. I’m drawn to vibrant colors and textured layers, often incorporating abstract faces and figures into my work.
Art, for me, is both a reflection and an extension of my inner world: a space where feeling becomes form. It’s a place I return to for the joy and peace it brings, and one that makes room for all I am: queer, curious, layered, and always in motion. I believe we are all artists in our own way, and I encourage everyone I know to lean into creativity, if only for the pure fun of it.
I also love meaningful conversation—hearing your stories, sharing ideas, or simply connecting. So please feel free to reach out; I’d be happy to hear from you. Thanks for being here. I’m so glad our paths have crossed.
